Pa Licensure Rules and Regulations are being drafted as we speak!

Ralph Montesano, President, Craig Gassmann, Secretary and Chair of the Gov't Relations Committee and Committee Member John Mitchell have been attending meetings of the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine and in November sat with the Committee to draft regulations for licensure of Perfusionists in Pennsylvania.  In attendance were members of the PBOM, representatives from other allied health and health related organizations in the state.  Good work was done trying to refine the regulations and a draft will be presented to the PBOM in the near future.

The Next Meeting of the PBOM is December 16, 2008 at 9:00 am in Boardroom D at the Department of State building, 3rd Street, Harrisburg.

Note: Ralph, Craig and John have been asked to serve on the newly formed Allied Health Advisory Committee to the State Board of Medicine.  The inaugural meeting will be held in December.
